THE
GUIDE TO RETIRING AND INVESTING IN THE PHILIPPINES
1.
THE WEATHER- The Philippines enjoys the tropical warm weather. Global
warming has no effect on our climate. We do not experience extreme cold
and hot weather nor the sudden change of temperature in the middle of
winter. Currently, it is winter in the USA but California experiences
snow and ice and also Florida. New York has freezing temperature in one
day, two days later it is 66 degrees Fahrenheit. Weird huh! This is global
warming. You may consider retiring in Florida but Miami can dive down
to 33 degrees Fahrenheit too. In the Philippines, it is warm whole year
round with temperature ranging from 70 degrees in February and 90 degrees
in May. It could be hotter and humid in the Metropolitan areas but generally
balmy in the province because we are composed of islands. The nights can
be cool particularly along the shores and in the mountains. In Northern
Samar is it always breezy and warm. You have a good reason to come here
if you have arthritis.
