THE
GUIDE TO RETIRING AND INVESTING IN THE PHILIPPINES
If
you are sick of the snow and cold weather, extreme heat during summer,
you might as well think of moving to a tropical country for this reason.
Of course, senior citizens have this for a reason. If you are semi retire,
early retire, or due to retire soon, you maybe planning of retiring somewhere,
not the place you currently reside. You may also consider how to survive
when your finances are inadequate. You also have to consider how to pay
the bills, taxes, and healthcare.
In
the United States people move to Florida or any warm states. Weather wise,
they are better off than people in the north. Money wise, there is no
big difference. In other words, they still have to work for part time
job to make ends meet. This is not retirement. THIS IS AN EXTENSION OF
LIFE BEFORE DEATH. I heard a lot of senior citizens who are unhappy when
they retire (this is supposed to be the happiest moment in a man's life
span). Bills are unpaid, medical insurance discontinued, Medicare eats
up their estates, and they pass liabilities to the surviving relatives.
Only the rich in the United States can retire a decent life. Imagine,
this is America and even those who have solid pension plan are robbed
by the company they work; I am talking about Enron. Social security system
is not stable neither since presidents in the past were dipping their
hands on this fund to pay the nation's debt.
I
propose a life of affluence for the retiree and the baby boomers who are
ready to retire soon. Live in a tropical country. And if you do, choose
PHILIPPINES as your home for retirement. I tell you why.
